WakeMATE hasn't launched publicly yet, so this page is an early draft written ahead of a full legal review. It describes how the product actually behaves today, but treat it as provisional until launch.

License

Subject to these terms, you're granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the WakeMATE app and WakeMATE Companion.

Remote control features

WakeMATE Companion can enable remote wake, input, media, and power-control features that let a paired phone on your local network interact with that computer. You're responsible for enabling those features only when appropriate and for protecting your pairing token.

Authorized use only

You may only use WakeMATE to access, wake, or control devices you own or are otherwise authorized to control.

Your responsibility

You're responsible for keeping your phone and computer secure, and for rotating your pairing token if you believe it has been exposed.

Disclaimer

WakeMATE and WakeMATE Companion are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WakeMATE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the app or Companion.

Changes

We may update the app, Companion, or these terms over time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
